Card reader and Mac G4 trouble

Anyone out there know the secret to getting a Microtech Digital PhotoAlbum P and Adaptec SCSI cards to work with a G4 OS9.0 Mac? We have six new macs, and the reader only works on one of them (it works well except sound files don't show up with images). The File Exchange patch was used. I tried the DOS mounter demo and it didn't help. SCSI probe sees the reader on some of the macs, but Viper cards won't show up on the desktop. Any ideas?

I am not sure about the specifics of your application hardware/OS, however, the DOS Mounter demo currently on the website is an older version than what they are currently shipping. I downloaded it (DOS Mounter 98) and found that it did not work "perfectly", however, when the purchased disk arrived (version 3), it worked without any problems. I did have to go and manually trash the demo version from my hard drive to eliminate the demo problems.

Mostly there is dosmounter version 1.0 deliverd with this cardreaders. From OS 9 you can not use it anymore.Go to the site of softarch.com and download a patch for dosmounter to upgrade to 3.0
