520 and PC laptops?

Andy,

There has been an ongoing issue with PC Notebooks and Firewire connection with the Kodak DCS cameras. However, I have been running a beta verison of the upcoming version 3.2 firmware (on the DCS-520) which has allowed me to connect to my notebook via the RATOC PCMCIA Firewire card. Everything works like a charm. This firmware is due out any time now.

Can anyone tell me if there are problems in using a PC laptop with the DCS 520.

I know the G3 works excellently with the firwire to go but I would like to keep everything the same. I already have two PC's and would like to keep the whole business on the same format.
