Other Lexar woes

All of the most recent 8x Lexar 160MB cards display E7 errors in our DCS3 cameras. They're fine on the DCS520.
According to Lexar, the cards are now made to conform to the voltage requirements of the new cameras, but are incompatible with the DCS3. They have no fix for this, and are apparently planning none.
Anyone else have this problem?
On the other hand, I'm glad to see Lexar sponsoring this site....

Re: Other Lexar woes

Hmmm, I hadn't heard that. The only suggestion I can make is to ensure you have the latest firmware loaded into the DCS 3. That can be downloaded from:
http://www.kodak.com/global/en/profe...oadIndex.shtml

The newest firmware fixes an incompatibility between certain Viper cards and the NC 2000e and DCS 3, so there's an outside chance that it might help with the problem you describe.

Re: Other Lexar woes

I have a DCS-3 with the latest firmware and had similar problems with Lexar cards. Lexar said it was a voltage problem. Too bad we had to send a photographer to Kosovo with three brand new cards only to find this out. Luckily we had film back-up. I think Lexar should have issued a bulletin to owners instead of having to find out the hard way.
