Your vote is urgently needed to support an extremely worthwhile nonprofit project to bring photography to orphaned and disadvantaged children living in Cambodia.
The Cambodian Photography Project will allow children living at Sunrise Children's Village, an orphanage in Siem Reap, an opportunity to document their lives through digital photography, using donated cameras. Sunrise Children's Village (
Sunrise Children's Villages) is home to hundreds of disadvantaged and orphaned children. The project will give them the opportunity share their stories with the world. The project is dedicated to promoting self-worth, awareness and creativity, giving the children an opportunity to tell their stories through digital photography, while providing valuable skills for the future.
A Web site is offering a grant for one worthwhile project, and The Cambodian Photography Project, organized by Marisa Kaitlyn Heller, is among the many that are in the running. However, she needs your vote -- and the votes of any and all of your friends.
Please go to the Web site
http://www.nau.com/collective/grant-for-change/marisa-kaitlyn-heller-816.html and cast a ballot for Marisa Kaitlyn Heller. (You need to register with your name, email address and a password of your choosing). Click on the link to “register” at the top of the page, not the “nominate” link (she has already been nominated), then enter your information, go back to her page and click on “rate/share” and enter your vote.
Please feel free to pass this along to anyone you know. If you want more information about her project, drop me an email.
Thanks for your support.
