| Re: Unable to purchase from Adobe.com I had an identical experience with the company we rent our beach house from. We have been renting from them for years using the same MasterCard. This year the charge for our reservation was rejected for the same reason "address mismatch". I talked to the bank that issued the credit card. They looked at the charge and verified that the address in the charge request from the rental company was in fact correct. No one could figure out why it was rejected by the bank software. At the bank's suggestion I was able to set up a pre-authorized charge. I gave them the exact amount of the charge and the company name and they then manually overrode their system. A real PITA. |
