Lens Hood solution for Nikon 14mm

We've picked up a few Nikon 14mm's for our digital kits. Anybody figured out a decent lens hood solution??

That front element is just asking to be scratched. The Nikon 15mm had a great slip on/off metal hood. Has anybody found a decent substitute that would work with the 14mm.

Sounds like there would be an aftermarket if somebody came up with a custom slip on/off hood.

Re: Lens Hood solution for Nikon 14mm

With the Sigma 14f2.8 I use the metal ring which slips over the front of the lens, to be used with the lens cap. I have found with the D1 that I do not see the circle of the lens cover because of the 1.5x magnification.

I am not sure if the Nikkor has this type of lens covering, and I'd certainly not recomend this with a film camera.
