Intel Core 2 Duo and Nikon Capture 4

Is anyone using the newest MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo and Nikon Capture 4? Any issues? It's time for me to upgrade from a G4 powerbook and I can't seem to find much information on this. I mainly will use it to shoot tethered. It all works fine on the G4 and I don't want to upgrade and then have a problem.
I would appreciate hearing about other's experience, good or bad.
Thanks in advance.
Best,

Frank, I use it regularly. Please see:

MacBook Pro Experience Report

Although the article is on the MacBook Pro, the MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo is substantially faster.

Re: Intel Core 2 Duo and Nikon Capture 4

Thanks for the reply Lloyd. Yes, I already referenced your report - it contains very useful information.
Can I assume that Capture 4 will run without bugs on the Core 2 Duo as it does on the previous intel chip? That is essentially my question. From things I've been hearing there is no difference in software compatibility but I like to get information from as many sources as possible with this stuff.
BTW,
Your excellent report and test on the Nikon D2x a few years ago was a big influence in my purchasing it and in my deciding to stay with Nikon and not switch to Canon. A decision I never regretted. Keep up the good work.
Best,

Frank—yes I’ve found Nikon Capture 4.4.1 to be very stable and quite responsive on the MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo (relative to my PowerMac Quad). I see times of about 11 seconds to convert one D200 NEF image to 16-bit TIFF.

I won't say that NC runs "without bugs" because it has never run without bugs for me on any machine! But it’s as stable as anything I’ve used before. You might use different features than I do, so perhaps there's something that will crash every time—but I think that's unlikely.
