How do you get the shutter clicks ?

Works well on both my D2h & D2x bodies, but not my D100 (an antique in some ways). Haven't tried it on the D70, yet.

Since March I've gone through 10,000 more clicks on my D2x than I did on my D2h that I have had since May 2004. Pretty amazing!

This entry in the File Info dialog in Photoshop:

File>File Info>Advanced>http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0/aux.

Only appears when viewing a RAW NEF file. It does not appear to be logged in the JPG file.

I hope that clears things up a bit.

Michael - the shutter count as posted above seems to tally up in my case, however, I only ever shoot raw images. Are you claiming that the jpg shots are ignored or that they should appear somewhere else in the exif code if we could unravel the code?

I would note that the shutter actuation counter IS in the JPEG files, it is simply that Photoshop isn't picking up on it. There are other packages that can extract the value from JPEG files, however if you just want to get the current count shooting a quick NEF file and looking at it in your existing software would likely be easier than installing another package [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
