exposure compensation on D2X

The D2X is the first camera I have owned with a vertical grip. Does anyone know if there is a custom function to set up something to give me exposure comp while using the vertical grip. I find myself using exp. comp. a lot in the digital world and in the vertical position it is virtually impossible to access it on the d2x.

Oversight on my part or on Nikons?

Oliver.

Re: exposure compensation on D2X

Why would you would need to make those kind of adjustments all the time. I shoot my D2x with a - 1/6 all the time. Exposure is usually right on. I do shoot RAW however and that allows some more adjustment.

But......just incase you want to. Check out page 190 in your D2x manual. Works just like you want. Also has an auto reset feature thats nice.

Hope that helps.

Troy

Re: exposure compensation on D2X

I shoot 100% of my D2x shots in manual mode. In this mode it is very easy to adjust your shutter or f stop when shooting vertically using the front and rear dials.
