Soundproofing a D1x

Hi,
I'm going to be a still photographer on a movie set.
I want to shoot while they are filming (and recording sound).
I've heard about these soundproofing devices you put around a camera.
But I don't know the name/brand, the cost, and how easy/hard they make your life.

Any info would help.

Thanks,
Frank

Re: Soundproofing a D1x

read the entire thread related to the note below. This message, in particular, indicates how to build a blimp:

Sammy"s Camera. 800-321-4721, in California, sells the Jacobson Sound Blimps, the industry standard. They are fabulous, but expensive.

Frank;
About the best sound blimp for on set use is built by Jacobson, their website is http://www.soundblimp.com/

Expect to pay around $800 for the blimp and another $200-275 for a lens tube.
