Re: Will A D70 handle Sports Photo Work??

Well I got mine on Friday - the 2nd hand one, thinking I could buy a used WT-1 at the same time - the shop I was using had a few when I last called in - but they'd all gone.

I'm delighted with the camera. Really. Two things immediatly make it fantastic for me - first, the Brightness and size of the viewfinder, second the variety of (fast) focussing options.

I used it yesterday to cover u18 County rugby, in the UK. I'm pleased with the images, some of which sold at the event. I'm in the process of post-processing them now so nothing to show here (yet?) - but addtionally, I've discovered a new product, the action sequence (alright- it's not 'new' - but new to me!!) - which wouldn't be possible without the D2H. The scrum half passing sequence, the kicking sequence etc.

So, I'm happy with it. Found it difficult to pick up the D100 2nd body (300/2.8 on the D2H, 70-100 2.8VR on the D100) - was very differnt. So no prozes for guessing what the next step may be.......
