Botswana 2004 - The Epic

Sao and I visited Botswana in 2004 with some friends.
We self drove through Moremi and Savuti National Parks.
We also flew into the Okavango for some R&R in the delta.
It was Magic.
Last night I was looking for some older photos on a web site I rarely use and I tripped over this small series. The Lilac Breasted Roller is #1 of Three.

Beautiful stuff! I was in Chobe National Park in Botswana in 1996 and had the time of my life. I was in a river boat and had a elephant swim by close enough that I could reach out and pet it's trunk, which was only part above the water.
