I was originally going on this trip solo, but my wife eventually decided she'd like to go, too (I was happy to have her along). I warned her that I was going to be stopping to take pictures, etc, etc... well... she got impatient, etc, so I didn't end up doing a couple of things that I would've otherwise done, like longer hikes, or a longer amount of time working over areas. This was why I only did Upper Geyser Basin... she got bored with looking at the stuff there, and wouldn't have tolerated another geyser basin
Good excuse to go back, though...
She was a good sport, though, and was a patient as she could be. Eventually, we figured out that giving her a camera helped ease the boredom, so she took my 30D around. The only problem was that I was perpetually needing the lens that she had... so next time, I'll have more glass along, too
