Digital LF lenses

are the digital LF lenses much much better than what i can get using my 4x5 lenses?

i have good current LF lenses, schneider 90/5.6 sup ang XL APO and a schneider 150/5.6 APO. and am capturing on a P1 P25.

also if you have used the Rodenstock HR digital LF lenses compared to regular digital LF lenses, i would like to know how that went. i realize the HR are much better, but they are really expensive.

Re: Digital LF lenses

Maybee you can use your LF lenses with your P25. But I'm shure that you can't use them with a P30 or P45. Then you have to use Digital LF lenses.

My Rodenstock Apo Rodagon 240/9, Macro Sinonar 120 and Grandagon 90/5,6 was sharp when I used H20. But they are all unsharp if I use my P45+!!!

I use a Schneider Digitar 35/5,6 on my Cambo WDS and P45+. The quality is just amazing.

Re: Digital LF lenses

are you using any of the rodenstock HR (high resolution) lenses... or are those very special app?

if you havent seen the LL article viewcamera in a digital world, he compares a 645 macro lens to a LF lens, let alone a super expensive Rod HR lens.
