Question Leaf Aptus 22 on a Contax 645

Hi there, a short time ago i asked here in this forum about some of the digibacks offering today and which one to choose...

i now found a possibility to buy a refurbished leaf aptus 22 in germany without vat and will try this one this or next week and buy it if its suite me well...

anyone here uses a leaf aptus 22? on any cam, coz the interface will be the same for the user, only slight differences on the mechanical side...

i would like to know how thethered shooting works, how the files behave if you use adobe raw converter or do you use the leaf software?

any suggestions? any feedback to this back? i used the search function but havnīt found anything that fits my needs ;-)

also i have found the reviews on the net from lumius landsacpe and so on...

if anyone got some detailed information about the back, please be so kind and tell :-D

have a great day

best regards

Robb

Re: Leaf Aptus 22 on a Contax 645

I recently purchased a Aptus back as well. If anyone has contributions to the thread, Id love to hear some tips and pearls as far as the settings for mode and sharpness that users have had success with as well as those they havent liked using for shooting situations.

Re: Leaf Aptus 22 on a Contax 645

Well...

i got my leaf two weeks ago, had no time before xmas because of work, so i couldnīt do any testing, just some client shots... well, although, i have to admit its one of the best things i have ever worked with, the included flash meter of the contax is amazing useful and the zeiss lenses are a dream to work with!

i will do some testing with my leaf+contax compared to a h3d2 22MP, a Nikon D2x with Zeiss lenses and a Canon 1Ds MkII to try out the tools available on the market...

We will see who is going to win ;-)

If anyone needs any information about the leaf, the contax or any of the lenses i own (45 2.8, 80 2.0, 120 4.0, 140 2.8 and 350 4.0) just pm me...

have fun

robb
