i would assume the 67 lenses wont have the resolution you need as they are designed for film, which the larger the format the lower the resolution of the lens. not saying the lenses are horrible, just since its a larger format and the negs wont be enlarged to the degree that 35mm film will be for common prints.
with that in mind, 645 lenses make the most sense.
if you want the best, the rodenstock HR LF lenses are the best and at about $3-5,000 each you would expect it. i think they can resolve under 6.8uM, smaller than the P45 pixels.
i'm happy with my mamiya 645 lenses though. while it will be good or better, i wouldnt expect the new mamiya glass to be extrodinary. just how things are, nothing against the company. |
