Osx 10.5

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any known issues with OSX 10.5, and PS CS2 or CS3? I just got a copy of the new Leopard but don't dare install it till I know if PS will be affected. TIA!
-Angel

I don't know why you ask this in a Nikon forum, but anyway: CS3 runs fine in MacOS X 10.5, but CS2 did not on my systems.

Good call, Johan. I moved it to the Mac forum.

Re: Osx 10.5

CS2, 3 & 4 will all work under 10.5. I have all three currently installed on a MacBook Pro. CS2 has issues in general with Intel Macs on any supported Mac OS version. It's usable but you'll experience more random crashes and hangs. I use it (rarely) for an older scanner plug-in that likes CS2 better than what follows. CS3 & 4 work perfectly fine in Leopard.

Why I ask it here, because this is the only portion of the forum that I visit, and find that this is where I like to be. Don't take it so personal peeps. Thanks for the answers!

That's a very selfish reason. You pollute forums because you are too lazy to visit the proper one. Remind me not to answer any of your questions again if you continue this attitude.

Re: Osx 10.5

im running os 10.5.5 on both my powerbook g4 laptop with PS Cs2 and on my quadcore power pc desktop g5 with cs3, both seem to be fine. i think the OS has slightly reduced speed of both computers but seems to be stable. i needed to upgrade for capture one software.
