Mobile Me #%$%^!!

I'm moving over to the Apple mobile applications, but I haven't been able to get my MacBook Pro to sync with my iDisk account. I've got as far as the iDisk sync panel in the Systems Preferences window. When I try to turn on the syncing, it gives me a window that says it's unable to turn on the iDisk syncing.

My account is up to date, so I don't know what's going on.

Re: Mobile Me #%$%^!!

Look in the ~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices for a lock folder. If it's there remove it.

I went through this issue a year ago. It was Dot Mac and Tiger then but I have a feeling the problem is the same. There's a lock turned on that shouldn't be. If the cure above doesn't solve the problem post the question on Apple's discussion forums. I bet you get an answer fairly promptly.

My advice is to hold off or expect more hiccups. Everything I've heard from the developer world is that MobileMe is still not ready for prime time.

Re: Mobile Me #%$%^!!

I logged out Mobile Me via the preferences pain, and then logged back on, which seemed to fix. Overall, I've been pretty underwhelmed by the 'Mobile Me' thing.
