Flash Gallery

Does anybody know what application is used to create the galleries you see on the New York Times front page, or Rob Galbraith? They look like flash galleries, but I'm sure they're created with an independant piece of software.

Re: Flash Gallery

I'm pretty sure that the Times is using all in-house custom-developed Flash at this point. If I recall correctly, way back in the early days they started with Soundslides.

The Featured Articles display on Rob Galbraith's site isn't Flash: it's just javascript. He—and many others—are using the Prototype library for Javascript to make that sort of thing relatively easy.
