Aperture and D200

Does anyone have Aperture and a D200. Is Aperture able to open D200 NEF files. Is it still quite poor compared to ACR?

Aperture doesn't support the D200 at the moment, I'm sure there'll be posts here when it does...

The RAW conversions haven't noticeably changed since it came out, apart from fixing the posterisation problem in 8-bit exports, so comparisons to ACR depend heavily on the camera model.

I have just come back from my Apple dealer. Nikon D200 NEFs work sort of. The interesting thing that I found was that Aperture would not import the files. "unsupported file format" is what you are told but preview thumbnails are generated. This was tested on Aperture 1.0.1. What does this mean. I don't know just thought that it was kind of interesting.

Sorry I should have explained myself better. I knew that the NEFs were unsupported but unsupported and does not work are not always the same thing.
