I am looking for a hood for the apple cinema display. Does anyone know who makes one?

I have a 20" ACD, searched and searched for a hood and could not find one. So, I made one out of black gatorboard (stronger than foamcore).

Not sure what a hood is for?

I have seen pictures of LaCie monitors with one, but can only guess that they are to keep light off of the monitor?

I made one out of black foam core and black gaffers tape.
