Roll paper printing on Epson 2200 /OS 10.3

I'm trying to get my 2200 to print complete photos with the roll paper driver. The print head prints to just over 8" and then returns, leaving a third of the picture unprinted. I'm using a 13" x 33' roll of glossy photo paper on my dual G5 with PS CS.
I've tried the latest Gimp-print driver as well, but am unhappy about the yellow cast and dark prints. Not to mention the fact that it often prints reams of gibberish quickly- ruining a bunch of paper...
Has anyone had any luck printing on roll paper ?
I've got a lot of work to do and just bought a bunch of this paper. Previously I had no trouble printing with sheet paper.

My suggestion is that you did not define the paper size in the page set-up for the size of the image you want to print.
Does your image appear correctly or truncated when you go into "print with preview"?
Stay with the Epson drivers, they are better profiled.

I did select the proper paper size, and the preview looks right, not truncated.
I'd like to stay with the Epson driver... I'd also like it to work.

Another possibility ( I have run into that one before ) is that the printer specified in the page set-up is different from the one that appears when you go to "print" from the preview. With Epson defining a printer for each style of printing (roll, min margins,...) for OS X it happens sometime that one did not make sure that the printers selected in each one of the panes are the same.
I have been printing on the 2200 and 7600 on sheet and roll paper under OS X ( now 10.3.2).

Yes, it's true that the drivers in OS X do that sometimes. I did find a solution to my printing problems, and that was to use the borderless banner roll printing driver. I wasn't coming close to the paper edges, but it seems to work perfectly now What a relief.
Thanks for your replies.
