Mac & PCMIA CF adapter problem

I think this might be more the problem with the PCMCIA adapter not playing nice with 10.2.x I've two of these and sometimes one will flake out on me.

I had a problem with my firewire reader not showing a card on my desktop - it was just invisible and wouldn't read (10.2.8). I upgraded to Panther and the problem went away.

Yup. 10.3 seems to have much better support for PCMCIA cards. The 10.2.6 completely caused all manner of PCMCIA problems for me and made changing cards a game of russian roulette.

However, in 10.3.1, my CF PCMCIA card reader is much happier, as is my USB2 interface card. Two thumbs up...
