Unity Digital Card Reader/OS 9.1

Using Unity Digital CF card reader with OS9.1, the disc comes up as "locked" (can't copy files onto card/or delete files off). The discs (2) are Sandisk 196mg, and they work fine in PCI slots on Mac or Windows laptops. Last camera used: DCS 2000. Any ideas? Is it a filesharing issue?
