| Re: Colur management on Powerbook G3 Yes, you should never CMYK an image unless you are the one making the seps for a specific printer/imagesetter.
If you're printing to an inkjet printer just leave at as RGB and let the printer (most often an Epson or HP) do the conversion to their inks. You should also always save a copy your images as RGB and not CMYK for yourself since mode changing will surely screw-up your image color.
As for the specifics of what color settings to use it depends on your use of the image. Make sure the RGB mode ISN'T sRGB unless you really want your photos to look like crap by limiting the colors. Use Adobe, Apple or Colormatch RGB. I'll have to look-up in my Real-World Photoshop 6 book and NAPP info to get the settings most folks would use.
