Mac OS 9.1 and downloading images from Nikon D1

Does anybody know about a software patch that would allow me to download my images from my Nikon D1 to my new G4 with Mac OS 9.1?Any help is great.
Thanks

The standard Nikon software supplied with the D1 works fine with OS9.1 on the G4. Do you not have the Nikon software??

Re: Mac OS 9.1 and downloading images from Nikon D1

Did you install the Nikon View software from the Nikon disk or did you just keep the Nikon software on the drive and just upgrade the Operating System? If you only upgraded the OS and didn't do a new install of the Nikon software then you need to transfer the "Nikon View " control panel and the 6 Nikon extensions from the old system folder into the new system folder. If you did do a new install of the Nikon software after the OS upgrade then use the "extensions manager" contro panel to make sure that all of the Nikon extensions and control panel are "on" and then restart. It wouldn't hurt to rebuild the desktop either.

Re: Mac OS 9.1 and downloading images from Nikon D1

Thanks for all your help.
The installation was a clean install for a new machine with 9.1 already loaded and running.
I'll try it again and then rebuild the desktop.
Thanks,
Roger
