More upgrading to OS 9.1

I have been holding off upgrading to 9.1 until all third parties were on board. Is there a resource somewhere to check on this? For example, I don't think the Iomega Fotoshow product is 9.1 compatible. Nor is their firewire adapter for their 250 MB Zip drive. What about Epson 1270 printer and 1640 scanner? And so forth.

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

I know for sure first three are 9.1 friendly!
If you were using 8.6 or 9.0.4, 9.1 is a natural update.

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

I had originally heard MacOS9.1 wasn't Epson 2000P friendly but after doing a test I find that it works fine.

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

Bill, there's a long list of potential OS 9.1 troubles over at macfixit.com:

None of my 200+ applications objected however.

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

Thanks everyone for responding. With your encouragement, I am farther down the road to loading 9.1 on my machines (and doing the firmware upgrade for my iMac).

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

Been using OS 9.1 since it came out with my Epson 1270 with no problems whatsoever.
Also have been much more stable, no complaints.

Re: More upgrading to OS 9.1

Thanks again for the feedback.

As long as my D30 software still works...!
