Re: Stoboscopic: what is is?

most flashes do it, it turns your flash into a strobe, like a dance hall strobe that flickers. do a long exposure against a black background with your subject moving who is wearing white or bright colors. you have to calculate the exposure by # of flashes. if one flash=F8 alone 2= F11 4=F16

any current canon flash, 540, 550., 580 I/II have stroboscopic mode.

Re: Stoboscopic: what is is?

usually the strobe fires (hotshoe flash) once a sec or faster, usually 3-20 times a sec (htz) something a studio strobe pack isnt made to do. read up in the flash manual. if registers multiple images of the same subject, stopping the action of each image as any flash will do, but recording multiples.

Yahoo! Image Search Results for stroboscopic
