| UV/IR considerations for art copy
i am using tungsten lights, 2- 500w or 1000w lights to photograph art. from what i hear tungsten puts out a lot of UV and IR light, is this in any quantity to damage the art any more than normal sunlight? im conserned for the art and also if it shifts color a little. the filters are cheap, curious to know if you use them. i use the tungsten lights with and without polarizers on the light, or sometimes strobes with or with the filter too.
