Repairing Matthews Flags

I have several Matthews brand flags (the older style, with only 2 square corners) and they are worn and tattered. I would like to at least cover the outside with black nylon webbing, or, a better option, recover the entire frame with the same cloth as new ones. Anyone have any experience with that?
Where can I get new covers put on?
Thanks.

matthews flag/cutter recovery material

bhphotovideo.com, not sure what you have to do for assembly, perhaps take it to a local sewing shop.

Re: Repairing Matthews Flags

Actually, I found 2 solutions. Locally, I found a seamstress who ran a 4 inch band of nylon webbing around the outside. It is not matte, but still black and should suffice.

Matthews has a recover kit for most of the flag sizes, and it consists of precut Duvatene material with velcro strips to make new flags.

It was cheaper to have it done locally, but those are a couple of options.

Matthews will also recover, but you have to pay shipping back and forth to CA.

Thanks for the suggestions, however.

Len
