Bowens Quadx 3000

I'm looking to replace (or maybe add to) aging Bowens monoblocks. I am particularly keen on something with a short flash duration. Portability (in terms of a power pack) is not essential but would be nice.

Having looked at several wildly varying options, I think I am coming round to the view that the Bowens Quadx solution is the best - particularly because it offers power, 4 head connectivity and very short flash durations.

Is anyone else here using this system and are they happy with it? A plus for me is I can still use my existing accessories, softboxes and the like, without an adapter, because its all Bowens stuff.

Re: Bowens Quadx 3000

I had a couple of them and they are very quick duration for even at full blast.

However, I don't need them as much to be quick, so I switch to Profoto for the light quality.
