Using Pkt Wiz with Canon Speedlights?

Hi folks,

I know that there are some photogs that use Pocket Wizards to control their Canon speedlights.

How the heck do they (you) do it? There is no synch port on the Canon speedlights. I have not been able to find any information as to how they are connected and I have searched Google 'til I'm blue in the face.

Thanks for any pointers.

Todd

That Paramount looks like it's going to fit nicely. Bob's your uncle, as they say...

Todd,

I use the hotshoe method with my PW's and Canon Speedlites and find it works 95% to my satisfaction. The other 5% is due to losing a contact at either end - but put right by brute force.

Another vote for the Paramount cables - use them regularly with my
580 and 550's. Ordered via their website for UK delivery no problem.

Cheers,

Andy

Good point Andy,

The ones on the B&H site need an adaptor and that is one weak link.

Yet another testimonial for the Paramounts.
