Ideas for product photography article/tutorial?

Hi!

I have to write one tutorial about product photography and it must be a good one. Emphasis is more on the photos than on text. I’m not native English speaker, but native English editor will edit my text to be in the “spirit of English language”.

I have some ideas, but I would like to hear “your voice”.
What are you would like to read and learn in that tutorial.

I assume a certain level of knowledge from readers, in other words I guess they do have an idea of what a softbox is, but maybe not precisely how it would be used or what the results of using a softbox would look like.
Than what product types to cover, shiny, plastic, transparent, reflections, Perspex tricks or so… Shooting liquids, wet bottles or so…

I will greatly appreciate any inputs and ideas.
Thanks a lot!

Misa,
I for one would be very interested in seeing a tutorial on this aspect of photography, it's hard to find good information on shooting products. If I can think of any good Ideas I will let you know.

I think that something along the lines of shooting highly reflective objects such as diamonds, jewelry, and chrome without the use of cocoons, would be interesting. More on a professional level.

Also, motion liquid photography and Perspex tricks is another area that hasn't been covered much.

Just a thought...
