| Re: Power Supplies Digital Camera Battery makes some excellent stuff. Once you have the battery all you have to do is buy the specific cable for the flash, camera or even a Mac laptop to power your specific item. One of my only complaints with their cables is that the electronics to power your specific device is all located in a plastic box about 4-6" from the battery plug end of the cable. I make a point of supporting/securing this box since if you just leave it hanging you are putting a fair amount of strain on the cables. Given that most of their standard flash cables are in the $80-100 range and the "fast" cables are almost double that, I prefer to take the extra step of relieving the stress/strain of the electronics box by securing it to the strap of the velcro wrap battery cover or to a light stand.
If you were to go to B&H for pricing you will not see Digital Camera Battery but it will be named Digital Pursuit Battery, don't ask me why this is the case. Also, if B&H is out of a specific cable or shows it as special order just contact Tim Dodge Sales directly. They can get you some items quickly, albeit at the full retail price. This is the sales side of the Digital Camera Battery company. |
