Sports Team and School Software?

I am looking to expand and do Sports Team Player photos and I am looking for ideas on what software would be best for my needs. I need a software that can put an ID with the players photo (poss. use an excel spreadsheet of players names and #'s). I would like it to be able to capture photos from camera.

I have been looking around online an I haven't really found anything. Awhile back I came across a LAB that had software (freeware as long as you used their lab for printing) that produced a barcode for tracking players photos. (you had to buy barcode reader and printer). But I lost the link. If anyone is using a labs system like this if you could provide a link that would be awesome.

Most popular software for PC's is Express Digital. They have 3 versions and Assembly Edition is database driven so you can input all data and have it print personalized items automatically. Demo's are free but the AE demo lacks the database section and you can't print from it.

Timestone is better but at a huge increase in price. Your licence is valid for one year and the software will not work unless you pay the 50% (of original cost) yearly fee.

TEPS is the best for macs.

From there, try Photolynx and lots of others that I don't keep track of anymore.

Lots of labs have the 'input' software on many of these. You're locked into that lab though, so you want to make sure you are happy with their support and product before you marry them.
