Re: Multiple viewing station Exhibition trailer – what sort of sales???

I have my trailer at an event nr Liverpool on Saturday should you be interested in a different approach. Not a massive event, so you wont see the system under serious load, but you will see an (I think) equally impressive set up. I'm also interested in setting up / selling franchise / affiliates should that be of interest - it depends where you are with your current business as to what would be most appropriate, but i don't want to use this forum as a sales pitch

for equestrian events I would agree with Pauls assessment. That trailer is overkill for most events and towing these things around is no fun. We use a 4 metre trailer with 4 viewing stations for most shows that as a gazebbo attatchment that will take 8 more viewing stations if needed. That gives a versatile setup depending on the size of the show. The most veiwing stations we have used so far this year is 9 in total. We dont do other sports so how it would work with them I have no idea.

I actually used Breeze with 4 stations and it was OK. Yes, simplicity.

I'm not sure that I would want to use it for larger events, there are some issues with it but that's true of every software/hardware that you'll look at. Certainly from my perspective, Breeze is priced right but it did take an extra person to oversee it. I guess that's expected with just about anything.

By all means, you should buy it!

And, do let us know how it works out for you.

Ignore WillMass. He's just bitter.

The problem with your question is that things change. Take me, for example: my event photography biz was flying high two years ago. For various reasons, sales have plummeted in the past 12-18 months. Trust me - it's not the photography that's changed. It's not my trailer or my ability to produce quality work. I haven't raised prices on anything, and in fact, I've reduced prices for many products.

The point is that an event trailer was a great thing for me for several years, but now it's a burden, and it has me reconsidering my approach, and simply avoiding certain events that I wouldn't have missed two summers ago.

You will have to make your own evaluation and decision. If I could offer one piece of constructive advice, it would be this: Don't get yourself so heavily invested that you can't cover the expenditure in short order. It will be much easier to sell off a small/inexpensive setup than it would be to get rid of a large one.

Best of luck, whatever you decide.
