Ed,
I use an
iMark die cutting system. I think they maybe going out of business but for the cost it's a good way to go. There are others but robust die cutters cost in the $3000 range but will last a life time. My iMark has lasted for four years and only replaced the dye once ($250). I figure that I've produced about 15,000 trading cards from the one die. I use the 8up wallet layout but had them modify it for nick-cuts. Nick cuts are so the cut wallets stay in the overall layout/ print and then easily punched out by the customer. Great for handling by packaging and it stays flat for shipping . You could also go for the regular wallet dye and create unique packaging for the tc's.
I use a standard 8up wallet layout (10x7in)( each wallet is 2.5x3.5in) for trading cards. This is also useful for regular wallets....no special setup for one item.
