Re: memory Mates vs Digital Memory Mates

VERY COOL.

And to think, I have my old dry mount press in the basement collecting dust, sitting next to my very much used teeshirt press.

That is an awesome trick of the trade.

What size (type) of dye are you using if you do not mind me asking.

I need to get a setup because now I get more people wanting dye cut wallets.

Ed

Re: memory Mates vs Digital Memory Mates

Ed,

I use an iMark die cutting system. I think they maybe going out of business but for the cost it's a good way to go. There are others but robust die cutters cost in the $3000 range but will last a life time. My iMark has lasted for four years and only replaced the dye once ($250). I figure that I've produced about 15,000 trading cards from the one die. I use the 8up wallet layout but had them modify it for nick-cuts. Nick cuts are so the cut wallets stay in the overall layout/ print and then easily punched out by the customer. Great for handling by packaging and it stays flat for shipping . You could also go for the regular wallet dye and create unique packaging for the tc's.

I use a standard 8up wallet layout (10x7in)( each wallet is 2.5x3.5in) for trading cards. This is also useful for regular wallets....no special setup for one item.
