Need source for paper frames for sports

I just signed up my first sports league, a 400 member soccer league. I need some of those self standing cardboard picture frame things and have no idea where to find them. I've seen some in a TAP catalog, but there must be other sources out there.

Any help most appreciated!

I get mine from Albums Inc, they have a large selection of memory mates and standard paper frames.

Re: Need source for paper frames for sports

Just a thought ... we switched to a digital memory mate 7 years ago and eliminated the mount altogether. No one complained and I doubt anyone noticed. The difference in savings was astounding on the thousands we use every year. I know many labs in the US that have switched and offer some amazing designs.

If you are asking about mounts on other prints, we eliminated those 20 years ago. It seems everyone removed them and threw them out. Save paper . . save trees.

If you still want mounts, Tap is the best.

Re: Need source for paper frames for sports

Doug,

That's my feeling as well - we don't need them. But this is a very old, traditional area and every other photog still uses them - with team photos and/or digital memory mates - I say last year's. What a PITA, and cost, IMO.
I'll have to dig out my albums inc book and have a look at what they offer.

thanks

Re: Need source for paper frames for sports

Hi Chris,

Have you found a source yet for your frames? If not, would you be interested in buying from Canada?

If so, let me know what sizes you would need, and I can check my supplier (I could provide appropriate contact details if you want). The Valentines gig I did in February, I ended up using some very nice black frames with a silver embossed stroke that a 4x6 print fit into. My cost was $1.01/ea +tax and shipping.
