| Re: Viewing station software (Vendor Suggestion) Eric, Were you referring to the micro-art.com software when you mentioned $6,000 + 12 station license?
Aside from VSS, Micro-Art, 5-Minute Photo, and National Event Photography, is anyone aware of any software program that can be integrated with servers and viewing stations (computers and monitors) to make a complete onsite set-up or a complete system itself? The above systems (or software) are not without their limitations. I'm specifically looking for a software (or complete system) that is similar to any of the above but will allow me to integrate with a server/router/viewing monitor system that will provide up to about 8-20 viewing stations (or more) per server without overloading and crashing the system. The VSS system appears to be sound but is limited by a 5-station capability at a cost of $5000 and of course, does not include monitors. To expand the VSS system to 20 stations requires an obscene investment! By viewing stations I mean the necessary desktop or laptop computers that connect to the server-router system as well as the monitors that attach to the computers that will allow customers to view event photos onsite. 5-Minute Photo (a seemingly straightforward product) is strictly the software. This then requires that one have the expertise to buy and build a system (servers, client licenses, routers, monitors, etc.) in order to have something operational, which I definitely do not. Any help or referrals from you top dogs regarding a "whole, ready to go, system" with up 8-20 station capability, not including the monitors, would be much appreciated.
