I use my laptop for viewing at events and people are always putting soda cans next to it. Are there any plastic coverings to protect it, I know its only a matter of time before someone spills on it. I was thinking of a plastic shower cap but I was wondering if the computer would overheat. With the program I use people have to be able to use the arrow buttons.

I have a "Virtually Indestructible Keyboard" which connects to a USB port and is made of rubber--you can roll it up like a sleeping bag. The only place water could be a problem is if it seeped in around the connection cable. Spills are no problem. Mfr's site buy.com PC Magazine comparison
