| Re: Have you seen this? Most newspapers have always sold images to the general public. Their marketing has simply gotten a little more aggressive. What do you expect? Their photographers see event guys out there shooting and selling, they know that there's a market for the images. They constantly get phone calls from people wanting to buy pictures that run in the papers. Now they've opened it up to anything their PJ's have shot at a particular event. Although I don't like it, I can't say I blame them. Keep in mind that a PJ isn't going to cover an event as extensively as an event photographer. A PJ is usually only going to shoot until they have 2 or 3 good images, then they're off to another assignment.
