Team wants photo baseball cards!

Help!

I finally got my big sports team photo job this summer (after soliciting it for two years and building my reputation with them), and as I was finalizing the deal, the organizer happens to mention off-hand that some of the parents like to have a kid's photo baseball card as an add-on to the package deal. Huh?

Problem is, I didn't know that an option to produce an "ALL STARS" type of personal baseball card existed, and of course that means I don't know where to go for the materials, baseball card, or whatever I need to produce this!!! None of my merchandizing catalogs have anything like this. So much for doing my homework and thinking I had it all figured out.

Can anyone out there help me save my first big sport team job by directing me to a source for this product???

(I shoot a D1x, Bibble/PS6.0 for processing, Macintosh environment, if that's any help)

Thanks for looking at the thread.

Brian and Kellie have the best cards out there. Period. They can send them back to you or directly to your customer. take a look at their web site for more information. Brian has a selection you can choose from or you can design your own.

PS nothing like having a lab call and remind you of a file you forgot to send them for a priority rush job.

Re: Team wants photo baseball cards!

I have 2 suggestions. A company I have seen recently is Multi Visual Products. Their web site is www.mvpcards.com. They have great personalized cards. I also heard Upper Deck, makers of the big league trading cards, is marketing youth cards of their own now. Not sure on who to contact. Maybe someone can help?

Hi Barbarella,

Why don't you produce your own?

Get the logos etc and make up your own template and use the PS paste into command to add the pic to the card.

Just a thought.....

Regards,

Richard
