I'm hoping someone can help me with a printing problem for my P-400. I have printed about 200 sheets on my P-400 with no problems. About 2 weeks ago the printer sent a sheet through 4 times with no image. I tried sending a different image and had the same result (printer sent paper through - but nothing printed on the paper). I then deleted the print driver on Windows ME and reinstalled using the most recent driver from the Olympus web site. After doing this I couldn't print at all using USB. I get a "No USB Device" error. However, I can print using Parallel, but it takes over 10 minutes.
I can move the USB cable from my P-400 to my HP printer and print fine (so the cable and computer are fine). I have to print 75 5x7's for a dance group by Friday and printing parallel is taking over 10 minutes opposed to 2 minutes using USB.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've researched over 2 hours on the internet and not found any relevant suggestions. I am changing the input to USB on the printer when trying to print USB.
Thanks,

Delete the printer driver, turn off the PC, hook the printer up via USB, then turn the PC back on. Let windows find it during bootup and the go from there and install drivers.
My P400 sometimes gets stuborn and won't talk to the PC via USB and I have to change to parrell mode back to USB mode and then windows finds the printer and everything is fine. Windows also sometimes marks my printer as use offline and I have to take that back off so it will work. A few times I even had to move it to a differnt USB port on my hub and change the printer setup to point to different USB port before it would work again.
Not sure why this happens but when it does its always at the begining of the event (when equipment has been off for days) and once I get it reconized again works fine rest of the weekend.
Your problem sounds a little worst but maybe some of the above will help. Good Luck
