Re: Package Printing

Glad to hear you are well again.

Picture Package is much improved in PS7. It now has the ability to use multiple images in different sizes. It's not automatic. You tell it to use a folder and it puts the same picture in the template as a place holder. Then you click on the place holder and on the next picture and it's inserted. You can rotate single or multiple pictures at once.

Re: Package Printing

Hi,

No matter what print sizes that you attempt to create if the aspect ratio of each image from wallet to 7x5 or 10x8 is that different you can get problems.

The Picture Package in PS is no exception but for a couple of 7x5s or a bunch of wallets it is a doddle. The main thing is that you must set your image aspect ratio exactly by cropping the image before you run picture package.

If you have the marquee tool preset to the aspect ratio that you want it takes less than 5 seconds to do a crop via the crop command in the image menu.

Do the crop and hit the picture package button for two 7x5s. Bingo! Within 10 seconds you have the 2 7x5s on the page size of your choice.

Paste inside and alpha channels over complicate the issue.

If you want to set your own picture sizes just edit one of the layout scripts in the presets folder in Photoshop.

Regards,

Richard
