Printing on Vinyl

In the motocross circuit I keep getting ask for 2 products. Does anyone know what it would take equipment wise to do this, and/or where I could outsource this at a profit.

Product 1: Those Static Cling Window decals, they would like to have one of my photo (which have a custom border with thier name) on thier back window of thier truck, etc.

Product 2: Vinyl graphics like the letter used on cargo trailers. They would like one of my photo's on the side of thier trailer.

Thanks for any and all input

Re: Printing on Vinyl

I had a guy put vinyl lettering on our trailer. He used a large format inkjet. Epson & Kodak both make nice large format inkjets. The printer runs from $5000 on up. You can also use canvas & many other medias w/ these printers, as well as photos.

Hope this helps

Re: Printing on Vinyl

Hey guys....
for me i use an hp2000cp inkjet with UV inks and i print on either tyvek banner material for my outdoors signs and prints and for the interior windows prints i use colorlucent backlit material. This way the customer puts it up against the glass facing out and when his shop is lit at night he has a backlit sign as well. HP also has a vinyl adhesive back material which i use for vehicle graphics. Even printed some boat displays and they are still going strong. Cost is minimal. Good luck.
