Kodak\'s PC Pro?

Have not been able to design Masks and graphics in PC Pro.

In Layout the graphic comes in whitout the mask.

What am I doing wrong? Or what is the work flow?

Any hints would be highly appreciated.

Norbert

Re: Kodak\'s PC Pro?

Norbert,
After making the graphic, are you merging visible and running the PCPro filter and then saving it before taking it into PCPro Layout?
Tom

Re: Kodak\'s PC Pro?

Yes Tom I did all that, but I found out that I did not convert the Background in to a layer.

I can do it now after many hours of messing around.

This is my workflow to make the graphic:

CREATING A MASK:

1) Convert the Background to a layer. ( double click on the Background Layer
and type Layer 1

2) Make a selection with any one selection tool

3) Create New Layer and fill selection with white in the new layer.

4) Create a layer mask

5) Make only layer No 1 visible and save. ( Filter < Portraits and More < PC Pro Save
and Click. Select only Save 32 Bit TGA File, Type a name and click OK.

6) Unlink Mask.

7) Save: Filter < Portrais and More < PC Pro Save. Select only Save 8 bit Mask,
Type the same name as before if not already there and click OK.

It's a little cumbersome but it works. I guess there is a better way. Is There?

Norbert

Re: Kodak\'s PC Pro?

One more question.

How to print in PC Pro to an Epson Printer?

I heard it can be done with version 2.05.

Have tried to put the Epson Driver in to PC Pro but it crashes.
