Then I read these dog show discussions. So I have some questions, if I may ask some specific business questions. What is your average transaction value? How many transactions per hour? What is your sitting fee and basic sheet price? Specifically, how do you handle the edit/upsell?
I found that consumers cannot edit off the screen as we can. So we took to printing a proof sheet (with image numbers & watermarks) so consumers could compare images side by side. Working in PCPro those could be either Epson prints or 8650 prints.
Another thing we found, consumers don't buy many prints (2 sheet average) but they do buy coffee mugs, T-Shirts & mouse pads. These items can be high margin. |
