Strobo Pro T or R1 camera/flash frame??

I can't find one anywhere on e-bay.
I bought one from a guy in Queensland through e-bay some time ago then I got used to using it; what a great tool for any event where serious flash use is needed.

I've bought a few other brackets since but none are like the "Pro T".

Those flippy frames are crap.

Does anyone know where I can get a Strobo Pro T?

Bill.

Ahh... I found what I was looking for. The one I wanted was the Stobo Pro RL...

I wasn't sure what it was called. But now I've found where I may buy two more through Google search.

I have a Stroboframe Press-T for sale. I switched to the RRS Wedding Pro last year and absolutely love it. Here's my review.

Bill,

I have to agree with Mike. I am not a professional but I do "hobby" photos for friends and family and I have the RRS Wedding Pro and really like it. It is everything that Mike describes. I too questioned the little bit of "slop" in the elbows when I first tried it and called RRS. I received the same response as Mike. After you uset it a couple of times, you do not notice it. It is built like a tank part.

Re: Strobo Pro T or R1 camera/flash frame??

Thanks for the input. I guess it's difficult to get stuff her in Oz but I may have worked out that the Stroboframe I'm using is an SQ.

I have one frame/bracket which I love to use, there's a sticker on the bottom which sais RL but I just bought a very similar one on e-bay... the dealer is based in Perth, they list them for AU$275 but I won this one for AU$120.

I've spoken to the dealer whom reckons I have an SQ. I'm waiting for Perth to come alive looking at my watch it's 10am as I write this while I think Perth WA is at least three hours behind Sydney.

Mike... excellent and very interesting articles.

I have to offer, and this is no dig of any kind but... I just never liked flippy brackets. I should probably buy the one you suggest but when I look at them in photos... It looks like the SC-29 chord is gonna be all over the place as I use the bracket.

Whatever the one I have is called (I'll find out in a few hours and post), it is static, it moves rather nicely flipping the camera over from horizontal to portrait easily while the flash stays high in one spot to bounce off the roof, I get great results.

The one I have is an RL... the one I bought on e-bay is an SQ but the dealer in Perth is gonna send me a RL for the price I won the SQ.

That's what I want... another RL for my business partner.
