Kata E-705 Elements Cover

I'm wondering if anyone knows how the plastic see-through material on the Kata E-705 stands up against the use of a flash inside the enclosure?

Does the plastic have a tendency to melt, or is it strong enough to withstand the occasional pulses of light?
